THE NEW ERA HAS BEGUN

JJB Sports’ new era has officially begun, as revealed by new CEO Chris Ronnie, as he unveiled the new company branding and discussed his plans for the retail chain, at the first ‘new generation’ store. Since arriving at JJB Sports in the summer, Chris Ronnie has embarked upon implementing a strong re-invigoration plan for the company including reviewing product lines, introducing new branding and developing a motivating staff training programme, as well as bringing a ‘hands on’ approach to running the company.

The new logo, created by the in-house creative team at JJB Sports, marks the company’s move into a new era, giving the iconic JJB lettering a more contemporary design and bolder colouring to bring it in line with the new ethos. The new concept unveiled at the The Trafford Centre store will soon be mirrored across the country as Chris Ronnie plans to push the ‘new-era’ store format with an aggressive rollout over the next twelve months.
His aim is clear - to firmly establish JJB Sports as the number one sports retailer in the UK.
